Listed below is a portfolio of the volunteer events that are not part of the 5 swim meets this season. It includes the points value for the event, the dates available and how many volunteers needed. There are quite a few volunteer opportunities for both time trial events. These events are available for sign up along with the other jobs for each swim meet.  Sign-ups begin this Wednesday evening, 8 May at 8pm.  The requirement for each family will be 12 points.

Popsicle Friday

Description:
- Provide 200 popsicles for Popsicle Friday for June afternoon practices.
- Popsicles must be frozen for at least 48 hours prior so they will stay frozen.
- Must be present to distribute at the end of 6 & Under practice through the end of 9/10 (11 and up will get their own popsicle from the cooler you leave at the pool).
- Bring scissors.

- Volunteer agrees to purchase and deliver breakfast to the practice pool for all swim coaches to show our appreciation and support.
- Deliver the following to designated practice pool at 6:45 am for 7 am practice:

• 1 dozen donuts
• 1/2 dozen kolaches or 18 breakfast tacos
• Orange juice
• Cups
• Napkins.

- Operate up to two stopwatch for each race;
- Start the stopwatch(es) at the beginning of each race;
- Step in if the original timer misses the start to record an accurate time for the race;
- Communicate time clearly to the scribe;
- Record/Assist record of swimmer's names, numbers, lane numbers, and times clearly and legibly on score sheets.
