Dear All-Star Participants,

Here are the details for the 2024 All Stars Swim Meet.

2024 ALL STAR SWIM MEET

Where: Don Cook Natatorium16255 Lexington Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479

When: July 2, 2024

Parking: Lots of parking available in multiple lots near the Natatorium, FBISD Annex building and the Mercer Stadium.

IMPORTANT TIMES:

10 & Under Morning MOC Times:

• Set Up Crew: Arrive at 6:30am.
• Swimmers: Arrive at 6:50am for warm-ups.
• Volunteers: Arrive at 7:00am for on-the-spot training.
• Swimmer Warmups: Begin at 7am
• 7:15am Open for spectators (NO SAVING OF SEATS)

11 & Up MOC Afternoon Times:

• Swimmers: Arrive at 12:30pm for warm-ups.
• Volunteers: Arrive at 1:00pm for on-the-spot training.
• Swimmer Warmups: Begin at 12:50pm
• 1:10pm Open for spectators (NO SAVING OF SEATS)

D&J Sports will offer SHRSL All-Star t-shirts, swimmer goodies, and fun shirts for purchase at the event.

Please note: There will be no tent parents assigned, so it is your responsibility to clearly mark your child with their event(s), heat, and lane numbers.

All swimmers and spectators must enter through the lobby doors. Swimmers should proceed through the lobby hallway promptly upon arrival. No chairs will be permitted in the lobby area under any circumstances. The side doors to the grassy area will remain closed except in emergencies.

Seating arrangements:

• Swimmers may sit inside; part of the lobby stands will be roped off for them.
• Spectators can access a roped-off area on the Diving Well side of the stands to move in and out during races. Please coordinate with your team regarding access to this area.

Volunteers needed:

• Timers: We require 3 timers per session; the meet will not commence until these positions are filled.
• Security: 1 volunteer per session is needed to monitor the stands and ensure orderly conduct.
• Runners: 2-3 volunteers per session are required to assist with various tasks on deck.
• Ready Bench: 1 volunteer per session is needed to assist with managing swimmers at the ready bench.

Please note that two out of three AC units are operational in the Natatorium. Please bring water with you as concessions will not be available, and no food is allowed inside. Please make sure your swimmer has started their hydration plan today.

Awards will be distributed on deck in the weight room, with team representatives or coaches assigned to collect them throughout the day. Swimmers will not pick them up like at MOC.
