Meet 1. The first meet is rapidly approaching next Wednesday, May 29 at the Commonwealth Piranhas. The full schedule may be found on our website HERE. Maps to away locations may be found on our website HERE. All subsequent swim meets will be on Mondays.

Declare Your Swimmers.

You must declare your swimmers as "attending" or they will not participate in the meet. This must be accomplished every Friday by 12 PM. I recommend you take the time to declare your swimmers for all meets today, do not wait until the preceding Friday. Information on how to do this is contained in the attached slides.

Meet Show Times.

-- Swimmers arrive at 3:30 PM

-- Tent Parents arrive at 3:30 PM

-- All other Shift 1 volunteers arrive 4:00 PM

Packing for the Meet.

-- A bag to keep all your kid's stuff in

-- Cold water & Gatorade.

-- Healthy snacks

-- Towels

-- Swim cap & goggles

-- Sunscreen (don't apply to swimmer’s arm until after marked black sharpie w/events)

-- Insect repellant

-- Money for concessions

-- Folding chair

-- Books or games to enjoy between events

Label EVERYTHING with your child's first & last name!

Swim meets are not drop-off events; swimmers will have a parent or other responsible adult at the meet. Swimmers will sit with their age group under the tent with Tent Parent volunteers.

Parents who are working at the meet should check in with the volunteer coordinators to get nametags, instructions, equipment, etc. Parents who are not working at the meet can find a place to sit in the shade or poolside to cheer the team on. Stay a minimum of three feet from the pool so volunteers may perform their duties. Keep the ends of the pool and ready bench areas clear so the swimmers, coaches, and volunteers have room to work and clear sightlines.

You are welcome to take your swimmers to the concession stand, etc., between events, let the Tent Parent know when you take your child then return them expeditiously. Make sure to check your child out with a Tent Parent at the end of the swim meet.
